The purpose of the Parks Board is to review the parks' appearances annually;
to assure that proper maintenance is being done; trees, shrubs and flowers being planted and maintained;
to preserve and protect the appearance of Central Park (maintain its old-fashioned atmosphere with water flowers, garden flowers, neutral colored park benches, etc. - avoid having the park look like Fisher Price toys);
City and citizens must secure Board's approval for the addition of anything to the parks.
